These programs have been developed for people who currently work within an organisation where their duties may require the performance of investigations.   It is especially relevant to workplace misconduct, regulatory non-compliance and fraud investigations.   Organisations that send staff on this course include Commonwealth agencies, State government departments, financial institutions, local government, large corporations, management consulting firms, health services providers and investigative commissions. Some of the  common employment fields of previous participants have included human resources, industrial relations, regulatory compliance, financial and/or quality audit, fraud control, privacy and FOI, performance and conduct management, safety, EEO and diversity, risk management, legal, complaint management and team supervision or area management.  The occupational focus of the courses are on investigations conducted by people employed by organisations and it should not be confused with the private inquiry style programs such as those taught by security related training organisations.

”USING THE INTERNET AS AN EFFECTIVE INVESTIGATIVE RESEARCH TOOL”
Scheduled Workshops October - November 2012

While general internet research may appear simple, the World Wide Web can be deceptively difficult to navigate when searching for timely, accurate and actionable intelligence.

Most users are unaware of how complex the internet is, how much information they are missing and the risks they may be taking that could compromise the safety, integrity and privacy of their organisation.

Aimed at investigative and research practitioners at all levels,  this one day seminar will provide you with the tools and techniques you need to enable you to find better information online, in less time, with less risk, at less cost™.
